Tour Down Under: Fenn takes 4th place in sprint
Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Andrew Fenn finished 4th in the 4th stage of the Santos Tour Down Under. The stage to Tanunda ended in a bunch sprint.
The stage was dominated by a long breakaway of Philippe Gilbert (BMC) and Damien Hawson (UniSA-Australia). They attacked just after the neutral zone and were caught at only 8 kilometres from the finish. The sprinter teams directed the bunch to a sprint, but got strung out due to 2 crashes in the final kilometres.
Andre Greipel (Lotto-Belisol) took another win beating Roberto Ferrari (Lampre-Merida) and Jonathan Cantwell (Saxo-Tinkoff). Fenn was well placed for the sprint and took a very nice 4th spot.
