Guillaume's biography

Guillaume — known to everyone on the team as Gulio for his perfect hair — is one of the most promising riders on the international circuit. Cycling is in his blood. His father, Kurt, was a pro in the ’80s, and his maternal grandfather, Benoni Beheyt, was the 1963 world champion in Ronse. The 2014 season was his most successful yet for Guillaume as a professional, with three big victories highlighted by the overall at Driedaagse de Panne – Koksijde and his first WorldTour victory (stage 7 of the Eneco Tour), and although 2015 didn’t follow the same pattern – because of health problems which required surgery – he still remains upbeat and confident: “I worked hard to come back and now I’m feeling much better. I began training since November and I look with confidence towards next year and the Classics season”, said Guillaume, who won, as a Junior, Paris-Roubaix.
