Gianluca Brambilla aka. Brambi
Gianluca's biography
A collarbone fracture suffered in Liège-Bastogne-Liège prevented Gianluca from taking part in the Giro d’Italia (a race he has finished in the top 15 in the past), but he made up for that disappointment in the second half of the season, which saw him grab several strong results in one-day events and stage races alike: 8th at the National Championships, 13th in the Vuelta a España, 10th at Il Lombardia and 6th in the Abu Dhabi Tour, his last race of the year. His goals for 2016? “I am much stronger than in the past and more confident. My ride in the Vuelta showed that I can be competitive in three-week races. Now I want to build on that and get a victory.”
