Mark is a genuine cycling globe-trotter. Born in Australia, he spends much of the year in Monaco with his wife and little Will, who just turned one. In 2013 Mark stood out with his victory in the Clasica de Almeria and an unforgettable win at the Eneco Tour, achieved with heart, legs and cunning. In 2014 “Prince Harry,” as the dynamic Brian Holm nicknamed him, was a key rider in the leadout for Mark Cavendish, a rider whom he has led out for years, including more than 30 victories. He boldly took on the role of sprinter when Cavendish was unable to continue racing at the Tour de France. All of that practice paid off, as the Aussie won the 2nd stage of Tour of Britain later in the season. Renshaw loves speed on both two and four wheels and closely follows Formula 1 as well as Moto GP, and he frequently trains with motorsports athletes in the principality of Monaco.
