Bouet ‘s father was the president of a futbol in a small village where he was a boy. He started playing, but after a while it was clear he had a strong character and always try to win. So, his father redirected him to cycling — a sport where he can work hard for individual success with the help of a team.  He always has a smile on his face, and of course a lot of ambition.  He is known as "Le Blond" for his hair, “Which is funny because I am also a barber! In the past I cut the hair for my teammates.” He loves to travel, but admits he is afraid of flying.  “I look at the weather a few days before I have to fly to know what to prepare for.” He also has a ritual where he washes his race socks separately to always preserve the color, and he washes his socks with Marseille soap. Bouet has one daughter, Victoire (Victory in French).  “The best victory of my career.”

Bouet came to Etixx – Quick-Step because it is the best riders, the best staff, the best material and equipment. “I can see already that what I thought about the team is a reality. I also decided to switch from a French team to Etixx- Quick-Step to push myself, set new goals and improve as a rider with a different environment. I would like to help the team win a lot of races.”
