Maximiliano's biography

Nicknamed “Atomico” for the fast speed which saw him win more than 30 races throughout his career, Maximiliano hails from a family of cycling aficionados: inspired by their father, all four Richeze boys began forging a career in the sport, with Max proving to be the most successful one, among his most important victories being two stages at the Giro d’Italia, one in the Tour de San Luis and the Pan American Championships.

For Argentina’s Maximiliano Richeze, who turned pro in 2006, Etixx – Quick-Step will be a new challenge in his career, one which he awaits with great confidence and enthusiasm: “This transfer means a lot to me. I’m very happy to join one of the best teams in the world and to bring my contribution to its success.”
