Keisse Finishes SixDays Bremen in Third

Omega Pharma - Quick-Step Cycling Team rider Iljo Keisse and teammate Leif Lampater held onto their third place position in the final day of Six Days Bremen, wrapping up the race with 291 points (+1 lap).

The top three teams battled down to the wire —the last 60 minutes out of six days of track racing determined the podium.

Unfortunately, Keisse and Lampater did not end up at the top of the podium. However, Keisse and his teammate came close to besting two very strong teams.

Peter Schep and Robert Bartko won SixDays Bremen in thrilling fashion, with 293 points. Franco Marvulli and Marcel Kalz, who contended for first throughout the SixDays Bremen event, took second.

3. Iljo Keisse - Leif Lampater (BEL/GER) 291 points (+1 lap)
