Tour de San Luis Stage 1 Preview
Stage 1 of Tour de San Luis, from San Luis to Villa Mercedes, starts on Monday, Jan. 23, at 12:57 p.m. ART. The race will roll neutral for 1.1 km, before the 189.3 km race truly begin at 1 p.m. ART.
There are sprint points available at the 77.1 km mark (148 km remaining) and 148 km mark (41.3 km remaining).
There is also a King of the Mountain (KOM) point, at the summit of a category 3 climb at the 41.3 km mark (148 km remaining) point. As this KOM is early in the stage, expect this to likely be a stage for the sprinters.
