Julien, a selfless teammate, won a beautiful 7th stage of Tour of Britain in 2014. The Belgian rider launched his attack at the bottom of Category 1 climb Ditchling Beacon out of a five-rider escape group, and was never caught. “I know my place on the team and I love to help my teammates, but it's also nice when you can go for your own result when the opportunity is there. My teammates were so happy for me after the finish and it shows that the work I do for all of them, and the team, includes big rewards for myself too."

Vermote, who loves fashion and dresses with great style and self-confidence, is a linchpin of the team even though he is still young - he is definitely one to invest in for the future. Born in Kortrijk, he has breathed the air of the classics since he was small. His childhood dream? To win the E3 Prijs Harelbeke, the race held in his hometown.
